So now I face the wonderful prospect of finding a new car. I have decided that I hate car shopping. I looked at a couple cars with good brand reputations, low mileage and decent prices, only to find numerous red flags on each. Two had rebuilt titles with a description of damage that didn't really match up. And one sound extremely suspicious of a scam. Now my parents are looking at one in MT that I really hope checks out. Granted I have only been on the hunt for a week, but as I mentioned before, I hate car shopping. My poor father has had to put up with one to five calls a day with countless questions that probably seem exceptionally obvious to him.
And that is all I know right now... which doesn't amount to very much.

From a fellow "daughter of a knoledgeable car man", I understand the need to ask a million questions. Do you get long-winded answers like I do? Poor dad! I don't remember 99.9% of the things I'm told about cars! Good luck on your search!
Glad you found a new car. So, this post is a month old...anything new going on? I hear your first nephew was born in that time...;)
